YOUR OFFICE HOLIDAY PARTY SURVIVAL GUIDE
Updated: Oct 13, 2022
Looks that are sure to brand you as a high performer.
The year 2021 has ushered in the resurrection of many things, both good and bad. Concerts are back but for some reason everyone at them is wearing low-rise jeans. Zoom birthday parties are out, in-person gender reveals are in. You can finally comfortably leave your house but so can everyone you went to high school with. Another inevitable resurgence recently back from the dead is the Office Holiday Party. For legal reasons, we won’t reveal whether we think that one falls into the “good” or the “bad”.
Last year, your holiday party was just a virtual mixology class with Dan from Accounting. Now you’re expected to show up in a venue where people can actually tell if you’re wearing sweats below the waist. Let’s face it, the eternal truth of work parties is this -- you either love them or you hate them but either way you can’t RSVP “no”.
So here’s our list of work appropriate looks that’ll charm your boss and captivate your office crush. It probably won’t take much -- you’ve only seen either of them in-person a handful of times. Consider this your own personal Initial Public Offering -- and we’re here to make sure you exceed analyst expectations and pivot towards an outstanding Q1.
